The Ambulatory Nurse utilizes a systematic approach to nursing by incorporating assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the practice of nursing.
Provides healthcare to individuals, families, and communities within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing.
Provides and facilitates competent health care of patients and families in area of practice.
Ensures adherence to established standards of care and scope of practice.
Ensures documentation of care is complete and accurate.
Provides health and wellness education to individuals and groups.
Acts as preceptor and supports the development of other staff and healthcare students.
Provides leadership for initiatives designed to improve the quality of care or clinical outcomes.
Assists Nursing Supervisor/coordinator in the development of departmental standing orders.
Triage Phone Calls Medication Refills BP Checks Hands on assessment of hemodynamically unstable patients.
Administer Injections Suture Removals, Catheter and Peritoneal Dialysis Catheter dressing changes Complete Prior Authorizations Enter Referrals to Outside Facilities Coordinate infusion therapy interdepartmentally Liaison between Provider and Dialysis Units as well as Transplant Centers Recommended Skills Clinical Works Dialysis Leadership Nursing Triage Peritoneal Dialysis Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
