Position Highlights:
8 hospital system in Central Illinois including a level I trauma center Centralized CDI leadership Dedicated Physician Advisor resources for CDI Availability to work remotely Collaborative team of CDI professionals Sign on bonus Performs DRG assignment on select patients, as assigned to insure appropriate severity of illness and risk of mortality which impacts Case Mix Index and mortality ratings.
Coordinates with physicians, nurses, ancillary staff, and the coders in Health Information Management to identify and record principal and secondary diagnoses, principal procedures, and assign the working DRG.
Conducts the initial concurrent review process for all selected admissions Clarifies documentation in the medical record as appropriate through communication with the physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff Documents findings on the electronic DRG worksheet and identifies other key pathway or quality indicators as appropriate Coordinates with the physicians, nurses, ancillary hospital staff, and Health Information Services Department's coding staff to identify and record principal and secondary diagnoses, principal procedures, and assign the working DRG.
Refers problematic cases to inpatient coding coordinator or supervisor/CDI and audit Recommended Skills Auditing Diseases And Disorders Health Information Management Leadership Medical Records Trauma Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
